The 2009 ATSILIRN Conference

 

ATSILIRN has held annual conferences since 1994. At them delegates have shared information regarding issues and experiences affecting:

1994 Conference, Directions: a conference about where ATSILRN is taking Australian libraries, was held at the Ward Library of the University of Western Sydney, Nepean, 5-7 December 1994.

1995 Conference, Communities in focus: our emerging voice in information and library services, was held at Batchelor College Library in Batchelor, Northern Territory, in September 1995.

1996 Conference, More than the printed page, was held at The State Library of South Australia, Adelaide, in November 1996.

1997 Conference, Opening doors, was held at the State Library of Queensland, 12-14 November 1997.

1998 Conference, Libraries and Reconciliation: walking together into the future, was held at the Queen Victoria Women's Centre, Melbourne, 23-25 November 1998.

1999 Conference, Changing faces? Cultural adaptation and innovation in archives, libraries and information services, was held at the Crown Terrace Function and Conference Centre, Wollongong, 18-20 October 1999.

2000 Conference, Cultural survival, cultural revival: the role of the information professional, was held at the National Library of Australia, Canberra, 16-18 October 2000.

2001 Conference, Hunters and Gatherers: The Collection, Provision and Sharing of Information to Communities, was held at the Tradewinds Esplanade, Cairns, 1-2 November 2001.

2005 AIATSIS Library conference, Deadly Directions, was held at AIATSIS, Canberra, 2-3 August 2005.
